Executive body of Bar Association Bandipora meets Chief Justice | KNO

Srinagar, Aug 22 (KNO): The Executive Body of the Bar Association Bandipora met with the Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh on Friday. As per a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the Executive Body highlighted various issues being faced by the Advocates and litigants of District Bandipora. The Chief Justice gave a patient hearing to the concerns raised and assured that effective steps will be taken to address them. The Chief Justice was pleased to inform that he will be visiting District Court Bandipora on August 29 to have a first-hand inspection of the under-construction New Court Complex at Bandipora, besides reviewing other pressing issues of the district judiciary. On the spot, the Chief Justice also took note of certain urgent matters and issued directions accordingly. He further assured that all genuine grievances of the Bar and litigants shall be redressed in the near future. The Executive Body also presented a detailed representation encompassing the major issues and demands of the Bar, which was received by the Chief Justice with due consideration and an assurance of redressal at the earliest.
